NL 5/10 with Top Set

Villian 1 is loose Donk; Villian 2 is good, 20/6/2.

Villian 1 has 1100, Villian 2 has 800, and I cover.

MP limps. Villian 1 limps. villian 2 limps. I complete in SB with 88

Flop in 4D, 8H, 5C. (40 in pot).

I check, MP bets 20, Villian 1 raises to 90; Villian 2 calls, I call. (I usually lead here, but wanted to get villian one involved. Then I thought about raising it, but didnt).

Turn is AD (330 ish in pot)
I check. Villian 1 checks. Villina 2 bets 200. I call. Villian one folds.

River is KH (740 in pot)
Villian goes allin for remaining 450. I call.

What do you do differently?

Fill up somewhere along the way... he obv. has 6-7.

I might push turn... but ur line is fine depending on the villain.

I raise to 50 preflop.

Considering we limped, I bet flop and try never to go broke on an unraised pot. I think you could possibly get away from this on turn, definately by river. If it was the donk then you obviously call down, or even get it in on turn.

Meh, If he has a straight so be it, but im very happy to get my stack in here. I prefer checkraising turn allin personally. I put villan on the straight (nothing we can do) or more likly a lower set. If he has a lower set and the rive ror turn was a 6 or 7, and you guys check it down, you miss alot of value. Get it in on the turn, and push river before he can check behind.

Uhhhh, how is it we know villain has 67 and not 55 or 44? I don't see how anyone is "definitely" getting away from this one.

I think you should either fold or move in on turn.
Hard spot i guess ure either up against a smaller set or probably he flopped the str8.
I think turn is the keystreet in this hand. If u call turn u have to call river.

raise on the turn, or double the 90 on the flop, then push on turn if villian one raises.

So we limped in this multi way pot and no matter what we do we are losing our 100bb stack to a solid plater? We're not up against a donk.

What if the flop was 8,7,6. Are we still losing our stack.

I lost my 85bb stack at this year's WSOP Main Event with 88 on an 876 board to a pro.

And I'd do it again, if I could.

As for OP, we're going broke in this hand too.

Not a surprise. He had 6 7.

I always get broke here against donk on flop, or against both on flop. I also push turn if donk bets and solid folds.

As it is I could have pushed turn. As long as Im planning to bet if he checks river, to get paid on his lower sets, its not a nightmare.

The reason its tough to fold anywhere (at least for me) is that he was betting into me on turn for about 60% of pot bet after flop raiser checked, and on river....well...he could have lower set.

Anyway, tough hand, i probably always get broke here. As someone asked with 6 7 8 flop, easier to potentially get away from.
