MVP of the zoo?

Nominees in alphabetical order.. hope I didn't leave anyone worthy out.

I'm just honored to be on the list, though I don't think I'm even close to the MVP.

Most valuable poster it is. I just had the most valuable part in mind, but good thinking.

Re: MVP of the zoo?

Cubs . . . for the news.

Lorinda and Granny Mae . . . for keeping the riff raff in check

a half dozen or so for the Computer advice

but for MVP (Most Value to my Poker bankroll). . . . it's Homer . . . and it isn't even close !!

Re: MVP of the zoo?

Tough choice, but I'm going with Lorinda.

- "Wrote" the FAQ (was the driving force behind getting it organized and the zoo is a better place because of it)

- Posts are usually on topic and helpful (or off-topic and funny)

- Hell of a flame war general (second only to granny...who is the zoo mascot)

- Always blowing me kisses (altough I miss the "lori" avatar)

Just for the record, yeah, I voted for myself. What are you going to do? Send out the dogs? or the bees? Or dogs with bees in their mouths and when they bark they shoot bees at you?

Re: MVP of the zoo?

I voted for Lorinda, but maybe I'm just being nostalgic, picking the poster I remember from way way back in the day you could basically either play at Planet or Paradise. Now when someone says PP, no one even thinks Planet anymore.

But if the voting includes comic relief along with valuable info, then Lorinda wins hands down.

Re: MVP of the zoo?

I gotta go with the wallet and thus Homer wins hands down. Of course the zoo wouldn't be the same if it lacked any of the people on that list and probably some others...but alas there can only be one mvp for this vote and he shows me the money! And it brings me back good memories of when I used to make my money by just being a whore...ah those were some days...

I vote for Microbob, for being there to comment on all sorts of issues. He has a well founded understanding of all that is involved in internet gambling and explains it well enough for the newbies to understand. He is like our own personal advisor.

Granny may be the Scam Artist killer, Homer may be the guy who codifies the step by step instructions, but mocrobob is the all around go to guy.

I also like synergistic explosiions for the same reason, but he is not around as often.

While I dont think i am close to worthy I voted for myself so I dont look like a dick with no votes
That being said I would choose Mike Haven or MicroBob for the last year's MVP.
Lorinda's still the nuts, but in my mind activity has been down, not her fault just a BB addict.
Homer is of course chuck full of info, but has the BW agenda (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Im also a big fan of ADDE who gave us all casino whoring last year!

Re: MVP of the zoo?

Well, you seem to be missing The Matador and other incarnations of him/her so I went for Granny for sheer entertainment value.

i voted SE for fighting one helluva battle over last 4 days with little or no support.

HAHA, me too. Truthfully though, any one of these qualify in my mind:
Cubs
Granny
Homer
Lori
MicroBob
Mike Haven

Guess I'll wuss out and vote a six way split.

He's the MVP if by MVP you mean Most Veined Penis.

MicroBob 02-13-2005 10:32 PM

Re: MVP of the zoo?

That's what I thought it meant....which is also why I thought I was getting as many votes as I was.

Yes, that is why you dont discuss another man's junk.

Bump

It's a dogfight b/w granny, bob and Homer...though I guess that's the way it should be as all are invaluable to the Zoo!!

Re: MVP of the zoo?

Mike Haven deserves far more than three votes.

He has set up numerous games for the zoo, all with good overlay and high entertainment factors.

Re: MVP of the zoo?

MicroBob is MVP of the Zoo and has been for awhile He makes a concerted effort to always be here unlike all the others I can think of including me..the guy is a posting machine and plays for a living.Best of all he shares alot of the goodies he bumps into online.
If he would just cut his posts in half I'd be an even bigger fan ..more than 1 paragraph and I'm skimming.

Hmmm that makes it tough, I think my vote would have to go to Homer then. Just the bankroll post which helps the new fish (uhhhhhh... members) is worth the vote.

I'd vote Homer, with Mike Haven & MicroBob sharing the Silver
