The dreaded Raise/Fold to 3-bet

I rarely ever do this, but it seemed like my only option here. New to Party + just sat down = no reads.

not sure i like lots of people would do this with a ten too doesnt always mean 3 spades. Also it doesnt look like he has a flush i doubt he woldve 3bet flop? Id call down if youa re folding to a 3bet

Re: The dreaded Raise/Fold to 3-bet

please dont do this again.

Im torn between capping the flop or keeping UTG in with possibly a weakish spade.

Just call down after the turn 3bet. This could be QJ KsQ etc

No, it really couldn't. Not unless this guy is a LAG.

No. I've shown plenty of aggression and he's still fighting back on an extremelmy coordinated board.

you have no read, you cant fold this imo. What limit is this?

Call down. Don't think that you can be sure the SB has a flush.

1/2. While I agree that I may have needed a call-down here, I really don't think KQ/QJ are in his range. I think straight is the only other possibility.

Re: The dreaded Raise/Fold to 3-bet

dude, hes an unknown, you have no idea what his range is. He could be 65/0 and limping JJ or a postflop LAG going beserk with Ks.

This is 1/2, folding this is a crime.

I'm not entirely sold on raising the turn after sb threwe betst the flolp. Thtat'sr scertaint yly a terrible trun card anyway. I may just call duonw and f ter the tbet.

You're right, another KT is the only reasonable hand at this point. Raising the turn with the intention of folding to a 3-bet costs as much as showing this down. Given all the bets you put it on the flop calling down is better than raising and then folding the turn.

What are your thoughts on raising the turn? Are we extracting from a 4-card flush/two pair? Thoughts on possibly getting pushed off the best hand because he's too laggy?

If this wasn't 3-way I would've just called down.

Re: The dreaded Raise/Fold to 3-bet

why couldn't he just be freerolling to the flush with something like KsTc or KcTs or even AcTs??

If it's 1/2 and you have no reads then why are you assuming that he isn't a LAG?

cap the flop

call the turn and river unless a 4th [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hits.
