I see no reason to be pissed at THEM!! Geez - tons of fish (you relly only need 2 at a table) and great software. What more do you need. What am I missing.

Rakeback isn't a crutch any more than monthly reloads are a crutch. I would be pissed if Party did away with them, too.

Lets make a quick comparison to a real world job:
Your life sucks so you work as a shoe salesman. One day your boss comes in and tells you that while your commission rate is going to remain unchanged, he is going to take away the hourly salary that you've been making on top of your commissions.

You head over to the bar after work and the bartender's response to your sob story is..."stop whining, and learn to sell without a crutch"???

I've seen many many posts all over the internet poker forums with a similar message as Webster has stated.

Almost like a concerted effort by a group. Same message.
Basically Party is good, rakeback abusers are idiots and bad.

Then it always goes, learn to play poker you leeches.

Makes me wonder what group of people would do this in unison.

Only real answer is simple.

i agree with the op. rakeback is not an issue anymore since i and alot others i know are receiving a bigger rakeback then what we got in eurobet. rakeback isnt an issue anymore. plus they allow 10 tables now. this is great stuff. everyone should be happy.

I'm not mad. I see most of these discussions as normal negotiations, ie "If you do x, I will do y".

If they give me rakeback, I will generate four figures of rake for them each month.

I have made better money at other sites and will never play PP again.

I can't speak for anybody else, but what pisses me off is that they decided to annoy their customers for no reason. I don't see any benefit that the element of surprise got them here; why not give everyone two weeks' notice this was coming, and do the change sometime it made sense, like a Monday morning? Instead they decided it was ok just to pull the rug out from under their players in primetime for no apparent benefit. Maybe they found it funny.

If they'd been professional about it I think there'd be somewhat less anger.
