High Stakes Tourney Player Needs NL Ring Coach

Hey guys. If this kind of post is frowned upon, I'm sorry.

I play almost exclusively SNGs, mostly Step 5s ($1k), and I'd like to learn some nl cash (and mtt). I have almost 0 experience at deep stack play. I feel like a coach could fast forward me through the first few months of my learning.

I've already contacted Tommy Angelo, and am awaiting the consultation. I still would like to entertain other offers, and I also see no problem in getting 2 coaches. Please let me know if you have anything to say about Tommy, positive or negative, either here or via PM.

So yeah, please PM me if you are interested or know someone who might be. Include as much info as possible (rates, what you will do, etc.), and let me know if you need to know more about me. Thanks.

Thanks El D. I've heard only good things about him. If I remember correctly his price has doubled since I last checked, but it should still be worth it.

Anyone else have anything to say about posters here who offer coaching? You can PM me if you don't want to post in the thread. I really don't know all that much about you guys.

Thanks again for any and all help you can give me.

I've heard that Tommy is much more qualified to teach Limit than NL. Is there some truth to this? And, if so, is he still worth the cost as strictly an NL coach?

Thanks.

You should consider sending him a PM.

J,

My comment was regarding Tommy as an NL coach for you.

Awesome, thanks.

I'm a little impulsive. I already hired him and another coach. But keep the PMs/posts coming.

I inquired and he is currently too swamped to take any new students.

I know the right way to improve my poker game but I dont apply it out of lazyness. I can see a glimpse of the high level of play sometimes, but then i forget and continue playing abc.

To Prospective Students

Hey all,

As has been mentioned elsewhere in the thread, I am currently not accepting new students, as I will be taking an extended break from coaching in the near future. Anyone who might be interested once (if?) I resume is still free to contact me so that I have your name, but it will likely be a good while before I start accepting students again...

Of course, if I change my mind, I'll spam the forum to let everyone know... And, thanks for the plug, turnip...

Hey guys. Thanks a bunch for the responses. I kind of half expected to get flamed, so I appreciate the help.

As of now I have 3 offers in addition to TA. I may just spend 2 hours with each of them and see what I learn. Feel free to keep PMing me, although I prolly don't need more help. Thanks.

Which coaches contacted you? I'd like to see a coaches directory like we have in Mid-High Short-handed.

I'd rather they come forward themselves. I don't know if they want their names out here or not.

I'm not so comfortable broadcasting my coaching beyond my title, but I contacted him. TBH, I have around the maximum amount of clients I'd like atm, but as usual that can change. this has been a crazy week of finals, so my schedule (and accepting new students) will be more ironed out come new year.

I offered to do a few hours of hand analysis + general concepts. not enough time for full on coaching.
