I\'ve created a \"Studtracker\" Spreadsheet

Hello all,

My eventual aim is to create an actual Studtracker, however for now I'm using Excel to create a spreadsheet, so I can just get the standard data in. If anyones interested in it i'll upload it, but I'm more looking for feedback as to what information you would be interested in. Here is an example for November:

Oh I should mention, there are different worksheets for different months, and there will be a MAIN sheet which gives you all the overall information.

How does the data get into the spreadsheet - manually?

Picture Wars!

...that's like half of it...

Edit: sucks...you have to click on the image and then hit the "back"-button. At least that works for me.

At the moment, yes. It's basically v.01 I'm still inputting all my old data, and then I'm going to work on being able to import automatically. Should be by this weekend it will auto-import.

Re: I\'ve created a \"Studtracker\" Spreadsheet

I'll write some VB Macros most probably, and failing that I'll write a quick software program.

Importing the older ones right now I am doing manually, and the process is this:

(1) Check Date / Time of first hand.
(2) Check Buy-In.
(3) Run search, "MYUSERNAME posts ante" and count how many times.
(4) Check Date/Time of last hand.
(5) Check last amount I had at table.

There's some slight variations from that, but generally it's the whole process. I should be able to automate that super easy, then account for the variations and make a few extra tweaks.

Can't this be joined with JonIvan's program?

Jon’s program only works for Party as far as I know and I think Mr BN plays some other site.
I’m using it to track my stuff though, and it works just fine (thx Jon).

I do a simple excel sheet too but only update it every couple weeks (since i am doing it manually). I don't get in the number of hands though to get a BB/hr partially out of laziness and because I play at work and at home and don't write down what i do at work. Basically i have each site and the balance and then do some simple amount of inc. and % inc. from the last two week period. If there was a way to auto import everything that would be awesome.

I play pretty much everywhere Stars, Party, Crypto, Boss & Absolute are my 5 main ones. Once I get one auto-import set up though, the rest will be easy as it'll just be tweaking the original code. The only difficult one out of those 5(Boss is impossible due to no hand histories) is Crypto, as every hand history is a separate txt file so that'll be last.

My aim is to set it up for Stars & Party for sure.

Don't think there is a link, PM him and I'm sure he'll send it to you
