Crazy Poker perposterous bonus

according to the reply I just received from customer service, they are no longer offering the perposterous bonus, the 33% rakeback has replaced that.

Only a little annoyed because two days ago a CSA responded to an email of mine informing me about the perposterous bonus and the 33% rakeback... telling me I can claim both.

Just letting you all know that this appareantly doesn't exist any longer.

Dang! I was planning to sign up there this weekend. Did you ever find out how they calc the 33%?

this was the last answer I got from them.

- The bonus will be calculated as 33% of a player's earnings for
Crazy Poker (thus it will be on Net rake)

Re: Crazy Poker perposterous bonus

Here's the response I received as well:

A raked hand is the fee the house charges for each hand of poker. It is a percentage that is taken from the pot after each betting round; therefore you will need to contribute to the pot. There are not rakes in Tournaments as the entrance fee covers the house fees.

- This bonus will be credited to the player for their play from the 1st of August up to 26th of August.

- The bonus will be credited within 4 business days after the 27th of August 2005.

- The bonus will be calculated as 33% of a player’s earnings for Crazy Poker (thus it will be on Net rake)

I was only able to do the 40% up to $40 signup bonus. Got my credit and cashed out. Not sure if I'll play there again if they're not doing the monthly $100.

Re: Crazy Poker perposterous bonus

Hmm - weird that some are getting the bonus. I asked and received this email:

Thank you for your e mail.

We regret to inform you that the preposterous promotion has ended and we are unable to credit the $100.00 bonus any longer.

The new promotion is the Rakeback.

Just as soon as I get done talking CrazyPoker up to all of my friends, it goes from one of my favorite new places to play to one of the countless poker rooms I probably won't ever see again.

Whats wrong with 1/3rd of a rake rebate. Even the dumbass donaters will love a free 200 a month.......

This is whats wrong with it...

Old way - 700 raked hands = $100. (~900 total hands 50NL or 100NL)

New way - 4533 hands at 100NL = $61.38 in rakeback (7385 hands at this rate = $100)

New way - 5423 hands at 50NL = $53.13 in rakeback (10207 hands at this rate = $100)

These are based on my own stats playing full-ring NL with a fairly tight VP$IP (15-17). A looser player or 6-max player might get better results, but you see my point.

Okay if your going to run and hide it sucks. But if you want to play the soft Prima games it's great. The only problem they could become tough if too many rocks gravitate for the rake...

Not sure what you are talking about, running and hiding. I've played 10k+ hands on Prima network in the last month, and I do enjoy the games. This doesn't change the fact that this rakeback deal sucks compared to having a one-day clearable $100 which allows me to spend more time playing on other skins/networks collecting various bonuses and the like.

Re: Crazy Poker perposterous bonus

a few days ago, I emailed them, and they told me to play 700 hands and I would get the reload bonus... I emailed them today after completing the hands, and they said the bonus was no longer in effect. basically telling me I played 700 hands for nothing (well except for a couple dollars in rake).

I wasn't too happy.

This is the exact reason I am dissapointed as well.
I play 25-50NL and the rake earned isn't nearly worth the time spent as it makes more sense to be playing under a bonus instead at such low limits.
