MySpace/AIM Trip Report
 

So, it's been a while since I've done a trip report of any kind and this seems to be perfect OOT fodder anyway.

I am on MySpace (like most of the people in SoCal my age seem to be on it).

I get very few random messages and/or friend invites. Anyway, last night when I was about to pack it in and go to sleep I checked MySpace and saw I had a friend invite from a dog that lives in SF. Some douche apparently thought making a page for his dog was cool. So I start complaining to all my friends via AIM that apparently only dogs (literally) will talk to me on MySpace and that a cute chick is apparently out of the question.

Lo and behold about 5 minutes later I ended up getting a message from a cute chick:

She sent a message saying I was cute and asking to chat with her on AIM.

At first I thought it easily could be one of my delinquent STTF friends who happened to have some weird fake account. But, meh, it's not like sleep is important or anything.

I checked out her profile and she had these other pics available for viewing:

Okay, so I thought 'Well, she's cute enough it would seem' but was still very wary since I haven't really ever interacted with anyone random from MySpace. Could be some porn spammer, could be a hooker, could be a friend messing with me.

But, it also could be a chick who was gtg. So I took the possible 'bait.'

This is an abridged, for readability and OOT enjoyment, conversation that took place last night between the hours of 12am and 3am. I included all information that I felt was applicable for thread discussion and advice.

Chica: I supervise community service in the city

Chica: i cant beleive im still up

Chica: i get up shower have breakfast talk to my mom
Chica: I live with my parents
Chica: usually yell at each other in spanish
Chica: lol
Chica: I live with my dad too
Chica: he calls me from work
Chica: we chat

Chica: I need to move
Chica: Im going to Peru in april for a couple of months
Chica: and brasil too
Chica: I need sometime in the real world

Chica: are u a dancer?
Yugo: I am a person who likes to dance :-)

Chica: i was going to point that out
Yugo: whether or not I can is up to my dancing partner(s)
Yugo: I let other people judge me on dancing ..... I already judge myself on way too much as it is

So, my initial read that she was a complete freak was probably wrong, [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]. She spent way too much time talking about had way too many details for it to be a complete scam. While she obviously enjoyed being naughty online it also seemed like she was more down to earth and much less sexually active (*perhaps*) than one would originally think.

I welcome *all* advice on what my play should now be. I should also add that in one week I am going to Amsterdam [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] with friends and plan to basically go crazy, so I have wild times [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] in my near future no matter what becomes of this.

Yes, I agree...I do have pictures up on my myspace account from last weekend when I was dressed in a Peja Stojakovic jersey (who I look like). So it easily could have been due to that.

And the fact that I just do look Yugoslavian in pictures.

But yeah, this could be an extremely elaborate hoax.

She lives in Southern California...just lived in NJ for a while earlier in her life.

She wasn't taking the pics as we talked....although you're right that it may have sounded like that. I'm sure all of these are pics she just has on her computer.

Yes, if it's a hoax, that's fine too of course....I was still entertained by the whole episode.

I'm going to try to hook up a scrippa club visit for later this week with her. I also didn't mention but she gave me her full name.....and asked for mine (which I didn't give). So that's a bit weird, especially since her last name is pretty generic (first name isn't necessarily but meh). So that may add to the hoaxishness.

Again though, as a hoax someone has waaaaaaay too much time on his/her hands. I think even if she won't meet that it's more likely she's just a girl who wants some online attention.

Your play is to meet here a local strip club. Worst case you are stood up, and you have to look at strippers for a an hour or two. Best case, well you should be able to figure out best case.

Fritz II(In Anaheim) is the right play, not all nude so they serve booze(very important). Might even have a few of your fellow SoCal 2+2 buddies meet you, or better yet be descretely at the club so they can see this dude when he shows up.
