my top 5 is very accurate. the next 5 i think i could of added about 10 other names, such as TYlerdurden, schwaza, etc...

also, most improved player is no doubt my man Lethalrose. congrats bro, we will definitly be hearing your name in the bigger tourneys in the future.

I think you need to add Card Sharp and SoBeDude to this list somehow, both have had multiple high finishes including a victory in the weekly big money tournament for the respective sites they most often play.

there's a lot of great players here. a top ten isn't sufficient. but i'd like to add bugstud even though he sucks at qualifying for the WSOP.

Why are we making a list to begin w/ out of curiosity? And what qualifies someone as 2+2? I guess Raymer is above the list at this point but he still posts occasionally and if you ask him a question he's always happy to respond.

ps--this list is all in good taste. basically just a tribute to top players who have contributed so much here.

if Sossman isnt on the list, the list is useless. Just because he doesnt play online doesnt mean he should be forgotten about, unless your amending the list to top 10 online players.

WSOP, Zee, Soss should be top 3. MLG and strassa close behind. Rest are pretty much on the same level.

Nah, no need. Here is my point.

There are many posters here who provide great, great advice.

Start w/ say MLG, Sossman, Che, eMarkM. They may or may not be the best of that group, but they are all solid. And their thought process is consistently good. So then look at who tends to reason similarly. They are likely to also be good tourney players.

That type of assessment is much more likely to help you figure out which advice is the best to learn from as opposed to going by who happens to have had the most tourney success recently. Tourney variance is astronomical, so deciding who is good based on recent results is just no good at all.

It is also very helpful in these threads, after deciding which line is best, to figure out exactly why lines suggested by other posters are worse.
