Best College Fight Song?
 

Despite my own alma mater's badass fight song, "The Aggie War Hymn," I have to say that I think the Notre Dame fight song is the best. There's just something about it.

I don't know what the best is, but I can definitely tell you the worst:

Tennessee

Got Damn I hate Rocky Top.

I went to the Peach bowl a few years back when UT played Maryland. Ugh, if I hear that damned song one more time...

despite my own alma mater (Ga Tech), whose fight song it 3-4 times longer than it really needs to be (like most).. and pretty dumb [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img], but does talk about droppin an axe on Georgia's head [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]. At least the Up w/ White and Gold does although not the real fight song. Some are super long..Va Tech's is much longer as is the whole version of Rocky Top and Fight on State (Penn State), but I digress..

My top 3

Michigan - Hail to The Victors
Notre Dame - Victory March
Tennessee - Rocky Top

Anytime I hear any of these, my blood gets flowing again cuz it's time for NCAA football!!!

My Jr. High theme is was sung to the tune of Hail to the Victors. I kinda have to like that too, which sucks because all of Michigan can basically die until I get back my 2 seconds.

My high school theme was something too, but I can't remember since I played trombone and that part was just quarter notes over and over and over and over again (in the freezing cold where we quit at halftime 'cause we were usually up by 20 and our instruments wouldn't work).

thats not thier fight school dumby...thiers is the war eagle one!! get ur SOUTH stuff straight!! and we have had ours WAY longer!! 113 years! AU is our oldest rival...we played them our 1st season...but learn what songs are what!!! they took that off of ours...there "fight song" goes:

AND we r a top 10 party school...unlike U!!!
Plus we have the #1 mascot in the nation (acc to sports illustrat) so FUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!

I go to USC and last year after we played Notre Dame their fight song was stuck in my head for at least 3 weeks. It's a catchy one. I hated myself for that.
