The Brown Lands were located east of the Anduin, between Southern Mirkwood and the Emyn Muil. The landscape was bleak and desolate and devoid of any vegetation. The gardens of the Entwives had been located there in the First and Second Ages, and the land had been rich with flowering plants and crops such as corn. But at the end of the Second Age, Sauron scorched the earth to prevent the Men and Elves of the Last Alliance from making use of the Entwives' crops. The Entwives disappeared and the Brown Lands stood empty throughout the Third Age.

Ive built a time machine and studied this time period. California is now a separate country with the worlds largest oil resource. The bronx is now the capitol due to a war between the US and China were China was winning but the ghetto in the Bronx would refuse to speak Chinese and the ghetto fought them off because everyone knows the best fighters in the world are in the ghetto's, the ghettos everywhere from East St.Louis,southside of Chicago, to fulton county in Atlanta came together to bat the Chinese down. there are flying cars but they routinely break down due to the excessive amounts of smog. The only clean livable place in the country is in Montana and Idaho due to years of no one living there. And Mexicans are the majority.
