25/50 v mahatma

any thought to isolating this pf? (I mean after mahatma calls the shorties all in)

I was thinking this also, unless you know something about his flat call that we don't.

And, can you tell us about that flop bet?

Re: 25/50 v mahatma

I would probably isolate pf.

If I didn't, I dont really get your small bet on the flop, but I can't see myself calling his min raise. How often do you think he is just gonna check it down after minraising the flop?

is mahatma capable of making that check minraise without a hand that has JJ beat with a sidepot?

in all seriousness, if you fold he's freerolling for the main pot. Seems like a reasonable move with any pair here, if you are folding anything short of top pair.

Is that in addition to the fireballs from his eyes and bolts of lightining from his ass?

durr, you left off the option for the oft-forgotten min-3bet against a min-checkraise.

I hate the flop bet with a side pot and a marginal hand. I would be trying to get to a showdown as cheaply as possible.

I dont understand what part of the hand you like the way you played?

The initial PF call is the only thing I can agree with, and the coldcall of the SS push is debatable, but I think isolating is best.

The flop play is terrible, obviously it was complicated by your missclick, but I can't see how calling that minraise and folding on a blank turn can possible be profitable.

I think you butchered this on every street.

Just played this hand... wish i knew my image at the time; makes the turn an easy push imo:

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $100 BB (5 handed) converter

Hero ($13346)
SB ($85427)
BB ($10000)
UTG ($9498)
MP ($12160)

Preflop: Hero is Button with X, X.
MP calls $100, Hero raises to $450, SB calls $400, BB calls $350, The calls $350.

Flop: ($1800) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $1450, SB folds, BB calls $1450.

Turn: ($4700) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2500, BB calls $2500.

River: ($9700) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $8946 (All-In), BB folds.

Final Pot: $18646

He showed AQ. SB was a fish; which only serves to make my range larger than normal...

Re: 25/50 v mahatma

I am sure you have your reasons for not reraising preflop, I probably isolate ~75% of the time there. However if I make it to the flop, I fold to his check minraise.

No this is the problem, i dont have reasons... i just suck. I dont like the way i played this hand- do you think a reraise preflop is in order? I rarely have even JJ here so i doubt itd get much credit (and i think AA/KK/QQ are def. in his range). What do you do to a reraise preflop? How much do you reraise?
