I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
Next time you have a full house (GET IT!? FULL HOUSE!?), say this instead. I invented it and I want it to catch on.
Feel free to use variations, such as a board with KKJxx and you hold KJ, flip over the K and say "well, boys... there's mary kate" and then flip over the J and say "and here's ashley". This will score extra points in home games where more than half the people at the table have a BAC of .1 or greater. I realize this is a really lame attempt at artificially propogating a catch phrase of sorts, but it's really all I have left. My life really is that boring. $10 bucks to whoever says it on TV first. |
Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
Nice one, seriously. I'm gonna bust that one out sometime. I'm think I'm also going to call it the Kimmy Gibler.

Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
Full house with...
QQ = Mary Kate and Ashley JJ = Jesse and Joey 2T = Danny Tanner (deuce ten, DT) 2J = DJ Tanner (deuce jack, DJ) You can use the Mary Kate and Ashley line more liberally if your game/party has at least five types of alcohol and/or drugs available. |
Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
They also had a show called "Two of a Kind."

Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
I was simply alluding to the fact that one of them (which, I don't know/care) supposedly was addicted to something or another.
Way to ruin the joke. Jerk. |
Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
haha... I can't wait until this really catches on... seeing people going all in with a set who are currently beat with a flush saying...
"I got Mary-Kate, now gimmie Ashley... Where you at Ashley... come on, dealer... gimmie Ashley! *board pairs on the river* There she is!" |
Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
I saw a T-shirt the other day that read:
"I banged the Olsen Twins before they were famous" |
Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
maybe Paul will tell us where he got the t-shirt.

Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!

Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
Trust me, I did not have to look up Kimmy Gibler's name.
|
Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
So I'm not the only one that had a secret attraction to her?
I mean... oops... |
Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
Anyone use this yet or have my dreams been crushed?
|
Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
not yet but i will. esp. if i hit a boat, er, mary kate and ashley, against the guy on full tilt with the handle "Olsen Twins"
|
Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
You cant call it a Mary Kate and Ashely, it'd have to be a Mary Kate, Ashley, Bon Sagat, John Stamos, and all those other people.

*yawn*

Re: I have a Mary Kate and Ashley!
I invented a similar joke two years ago. I was playing in a dorm game, and every time I flipped over a full house and won, I would say "Danny Tanner!!!" really loudly and obnoxiously. Nobody laughed, which just made it funnier.

A specific full house...
Needs to be a specific full house. Jacks full fo queens maybe? And if you could find a way to make the name dirty I'd definitely use it then.

Re: A specific full house...
Do we even need to say 6's over 9's?
|
Re: A specific full house...
Now that's an image.
[ QUOTE ] Do we even need to say 6's over 9's? [/ QUOTE ] |
Okay, I\'ve got it......
"Ashley" is six characters. "Mary-Kate", counting the hyphen, is nine. So sixes over nines is Ashley over Mary-Kate, and nines over sixes is Mary-Kate over Ashley.
I may never fold 9-6 again. |
