Top pair Top Kicker in huge multiway pot

No reads as I just sat down maybe 10 hands ago. Criticize my play on all streets? After flop I was worried of being up against a set so I slowed down. Should I have raised the turn or river? - The raise would not have been to protect my hand as they all would have called one more bet anyways.

I also like it. If you're having a good day, maybe you get to chop.

Against three betting/calling opponents I think you took the right course. You're probably behind to Aces or a set of 8's (the CO perhaps?). Everyone is not bluffing or drawing to a flush, as the river calls later confirm for you. A large part of your preflop equity was in the fact of being suited, but you're left now with a single pair vs three opponents showing strength. Couple that fact with the knowledge that your hand is the obvious one to beat, would urge me to slow down.

I agree that he's probably beat. But 88? Who puts in one raise on the flop and slows down for fear of an overset? 88 raises the turn here all day long. If BB doesn't have AA or KK, I'm shocked.

Why no preflop raise?

I play it the same.

nh.

The CO could have been pushing a flush draw on the flop. I am guessing BB has AA or less likely KK. Most likely WB, but maybe WA to an aggressive QQ or chopping with AK. Good call-down.

you could consider calling and raising CO's turn bet since the pot is so huge you won't force anyone out on the flop. I can't say it's 100% right though.

Without the hindsight of seeing BB's cap, this probably isn't a bad idea.

The only thing is, there isn't too much that can profitably call the flop, that we can hope to fold on the turn. But in a pot this big, people will peel with all sorts of [censored]. So definitely an option.

I like how it was played.

I'll just throw my monkey wrench in the mix and ask:
Because of the above peel with anything factor and the overlay from all the overcallers, do we have enough of a razor thin equity edge to raise the river?

Baring in mind-

1 combo of KK we lose to.
3 combos of AA we lose to.
6 combos of AK we tie with.

We have 30% equity against this range, putting in 25% of the money????
