mr. diablo,

what if i ask the question 'does anyone fold here fearing Q10?' because i seriously thought about it.

Wait, are you saying Hero should have folded and it's not close? Barring specific reads, the only way I am folding is if all the bones in my hands spontaneously break and I am unable to click the call button. This action is JT/88, JJ/99, 88/J9 and so on more often than you might think.

lets see. some guy minraises, u get 4 callers including the hero.

Do you really want to risk 2/3rd of a big stack(~9k) with the second nuts here? I am NOT being results oriented. Look at those stacks. It takes a lot of effort and time to build such a nice stack. Tough to laydown this hand but I would fold here.

easy fold. i'm gonna quote something diablo said in the past, and i'm pretty sure this is verbatim (that means "word for word," for those of you who don't speak spanish): "going all-in on the flop holding the 2nd-nut straight with no redraws and that much action in a 3-way pot is no way to make money in hold'em."

El D.,

Come on now, be reasonable. JJ had a lot more outs than T-9 had on the turn. Furthermore, i was only talking to villian after he boated, this the previous action is irrevelant. NOOB.

Best wishes,

Gabe

I wasn't going to accuse you of that. I don't even know the results, yet. So many people post results in their original posts that I have gotten in the habit of only reading to where the action ends. From the sounds of it, I am guessing the hero lost his stack to QT. I am obviously in the minority here, but something about the way the hand unfolded smells funny to me. Something about the hand has me expecting to see two sets or top two and a set or a pair+draw and a set or a set and another T7.

I guess I must be wrong here because many respected posters say fold. Personally, though, I would have put my money in. Sometimes I just feel like I'm good and sometimes I pick up that feeling from a post. When I saw all the money go in in this hand history, I thought T7 was the best hand. Maybe I need to brush up on my hand reading

rossmary and i had been going at it the past few hours. EVERY time i would raise preflop he would reraise me big hoping to play a huge pot. i'm sure ez saw us play all of these big pots so i thought his range would probably be wider than q10 to make that push. and i was 99% sure i was ahead of ross.
