Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
Here's the perspective of a 18 year old poker player on the best TV shows (entertainment wise..) out there by day.
Sunday - NBC 9PM EST - Las Vegas Monday - FOX 8PM EST - 24 Tuesday - FOX 8PM EST - House MD Wednesday - Not really Sure Thursday - FOX 8PM EST - The OC ESPN 9PM EST - Tilt Friday - FOX 8PM EST - Johnny Zero Whaddya think? Saturdays are for binge drinking so that day is moot. |
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
you watch to much Fox.

Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
Wednesday = Lost. And it's not even close.

Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
<3 the OC
There's no better show out there IMO. Isn't it much easier to have one channel you watch all the time opposed to channel surfing? I hate that [censored]. |
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
Agreed.
The first half of the best 2 hour block on TV. mmmmm.....Jennifer Garner. *drools* |
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
I'm a big fan of Amanda Righetti or whatever however you spell it.
|
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
don't watch Las Vegas so I can't comment on that.
Just saw the first episode of the new show Numbers' and it was better than I expected. Not Great by any stretch...but at least it didn't completely suck. I think your list loses a LOT of credit because you included Tilt. |
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
why is tilt on there?
|
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
I don't watch Alias, but right now I think Lost stands on its own as the best 1-hour block of television....

Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
Sunday-Arrested Development/Desperate Housewives (shut up. Just shut up)

Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
Microbob,
Entertainment Value wise. I think it's really funny at certain points but also interesting because it involves my favorite hobby. |
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
Then I highly recommend buying the first 3 seasons on DVD and watching them so that you may enjoy creative stylings of J.J. Abrams for a full 2 hours.
And I do agree with you. Lost is my new favorite show since Aarron Sorkin left West Wing and isn't doing anything at the moment. |
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
Wednesday- West Wing.
Season 5 sucked, since it was the first season w/o Aaron Sorkin. Season 6 (current one) is getting better, but still not to the previous standards. However, it still remains better than any other drivel on tv. |
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
Season 5 blows goats.
Season 6 lost me when they promoted CJ. I want Sorking to start writing again. I miss his style. |
Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
For some reason I never quite clicked with West Wing. But I loved Sports Night. Something about that fast-paced dialog worked better in a less-serious setting, at least for me.

las Vegas is on Monday, not Sunday n/m

Re: Best TV Shows by Night - My Opinion
Sunday - Boston Legal
Monday - Las Vegas Tuesday - I don't watch TV, but I like NYPD Blue Wednesday - Lost - the best show on TV Thursday - CSI Fri and Sat - If you watch TV you are either over 50 or a [censored] loser, maybe both. By the way, Alias is the second best show on TV but it doesn't make your list because Lost is on the same day. |

[/ QUOTE ] I hear ya, cause A Few Good Men just sucked. I could just watch my Sports Night DVD's all the time and never get tired of them. Damn ABC for cancelling that show. Damn them to hell. But thank them for putting on Lost and Alias. |
