Looking for a backer-serious inquiries

I am a 24 year old player who is looking for a backer for online lhe. My goal is to be playing 15/30 in about two months but I am not asking for that kind of bankroll. I am asking for $500 to start at the 3/6 game. The way it would work is you transfer $500 to me on either party poker, poker stars, or ultimate bet. I play just the 3/6 limit for one week. At the end of the week we will look to see where the bankroll stands. The deal would be split all profits 50/50 once the bank roll reaches $1500 and then all subsequent profits as well. I play in a local 3/6 live game and I do very well making about $300/6 hour session. I haven't played much online but want to get into it. If you are seriously interested please reply. I do honestly believe this can be very profitable for myself and my backer.

Re: Looking for a backer-serious inquiries

Well I said I make about that. I have had sessions where I've made much more than that. That is the beauty of limit poker. So as I stated before, serious inquiries only please.

Two words: sample size. You have played what - a total of 1000 hands or something?

And if you did, why are you asking for a measly $500 stake?

Look all I'm asking for here is someone to stake me to get going and make a little money on the side. I didn't asked to be flamed so if you're not interested fine just leave me be. Most of the ones flaming on here aren't even the higher limit players so they really have no right to say anything.

I hope noone buys this. He isnt stupid, he is a scammer and should be banned asap.

LOL

I kind of see why you guys get so abrasive to new comers now.

I'll stake you in the 0.01/0.02 game if you want. I think three dollars ought to give you a good startup BR.

But seriously, there aint nobody here that's gonna stake somebody they dont know, so you might as well save your breath pal.

Asking the obvious here, but if you are making $300/6 hour session (and more sometimes), why not go play for 10 hours and make $500 to load your own account rather than making a post like this?

Instead you (being certain you're a winning player) are willing to give up HALF of your profits playing online rather than play for 10 hours to keep ALL of your profits.

1+1=3?

or just answer the simple question: why do you need a backer for only $500 if you can make that much easily yourself by playing the 3/6 at $300/6hrs??

because there is less risk for me. that is how backing works. i give up 50% to assume less risk

1706/688 days = 2.48 posts/day

You registered today and have 9 already, I'm betting you reach 20 by the end of the day.

I think you should go back to the Borgata and play 10 hours of 3/6 instead of wasting your time posting on here.

Seems more logical, although more risky.

if you really make $300/ live game session, play twice and now you have your online bankroll.

I already instituted this argument. His reply was getting staked is "less risk".

Like I said, 1+1=3.

Did you really expect serious responses when you come to a mid-high stakes strategy forum and ask for money to play 3/6 and then [censored] talk the people who reply? Let me try and help if you really want to use this site and improve your poker:

Go here first. When you're done with that go here next.

This is probably the most sincere response you'll get. Good luck.

Actually, several people on these forums often act like jerks. In fact, one or two people acted pretty assholish in this thread even before you started getting all defensive. At this point, though, you're just asking for it. Take a deep breath, walk away from your computer and come back when you're calm. Then read the theory forum and the small stakes threads on variance and bankroll. You are NOT making $50 per hour at $3/$6 and you are not doing yourself any favors by attacking other posters.

Give yourself a little reality check: if you're beating the game for even HALF of what you claim, you've made $5,000 in the last 200 hours of play. No one is going to back a gambler who can't squeeze $500 of his own dollars out of that $5K.

Oh, yeah, and stop being so defensive. Did I mention that?

SpaceAce
P.S. Calm down and don't be so defensive.

I'm always looking for young talent to back against the over-rated clowns that regularly venture into the mid and high limit games on PP.

50/50 sounds like a more than fair split.

I'm a tad short of cash right now, but I will advise you when I have put the $500 together. Then, we can be off and running.

Hey I have a friend from Nigeria who wants to send you $2,000,000. First you gotta send him $500 to cover processing costs. So if you get your $500 I suggest you use it on that, not on Poker.
