Personal Foul? (NE vs Buf)

Anyone understand that call against Brady? If the had called holding, I think it would have been wrong, but I would have understood it. But how can that be a personal foul?

Only a wide reciever can deliver a "crackback" block. Bad call.

WTF is a "crackback" block?

Poor Patriots - they never get any calls.

Don't get it either. Terrible call. Colvin got like his 20th roughing the passer personal on the ensuing Bills posession when Samuel bumped him and his head hit Losman's head. Not as bad but another scabby penalty.

Not that we needed any help from the refs today.

Are Pats fans really complaining about officiating? Remind me of Germans who call the US warmongers.

Or somebody who can't read a clock and reaches for an obscure pickle reference.

If you look at the name, I think it's clearly 'disgruntled Bills fan wishing for the years they used to just get raped in the Super Bowl'

And no, I wasn't really upset about these calls, I just found both of them terrible. I try to be relatively impartial on these issues. FWIW I thought the forward - arm - motion - fumble Raiders game thing was terrible when I saw that, and that they deserved to lose. Now, turns out I was wrong if you listen to NFL officials, but I am capable of admitting when a team I like gets a break.

Like the first Bills game this year when a potential game-winner was stalled on a phantom interference penalty on Moulds? Or the 1998 game when Shaun Jefferson caught a 4th & 10 pass 3 yards out of bounds & a yard short of the 1st down followed by the first ever interference penalty on a hail marry in NFL history? This game ironically caused the league to bring back instant replay, which gave NE their first SB.
Yep - Bills fan - congrats on solving the big mystery, I was really trying to hide that one.

Lot of nerve showing your face McGahee when Brady gains more yards. How about a little cheese with your whine?

A) Sorry for not being a bandwagon fan.
B) I didn't start a thread about the officials after the first NE game.

I don't think there are any Bills 'bandwagon fans' at this point, as their bandwagon currently consists of a rusted out Ford pickup trying to tow the ego of their star running back (who recently came out and called himself the best RB in the NFL IIRC...)

However, my point was, no, I wasn't really upset with the calls, because NE was going to bend the Bills over and leave a phone number written on their asses anyway. A Bills fan complaining about officiating is like a rape victim complaining that her assailant left the door open on his way out of her house.
