Am I the only dork that shuffles chips while they play online?
 

When I first started playing online a few years ago,it was the same timeframe that I started learning how to shuffle the chips. I taught myself while I played online. The chips are still on my desk and I costantly play with them as I play online. Anyone else do this, or am I the only Dork?

No you arent the only one, I do it all the time. I use it to keep me from being distracted. I know its probably silly but it seems to work.

I don't think there's a real reason I do it. The chip are still sitting there, I've never put them away, so I riffle those suckers. Maybe it puts me in the poker focus mood.
Don't get me wrong, I'm definitley a dork.

I'm so far along the road to dorkositude that not only do I shuffle chips while I play online, I'll shuffle chips while reading my mail, checking out posts here at 2+2, watching TV, talking on the phone, etc...

Not only do I shuffle chips when I play online, I'll change chip colors if I'm not doing well. I hear it's bad luck to be superstitious.

Not only aren't you the only dork that does this, but I had to actually study it by looking up some Dutch Boyd clips because I kept dropping chips all over the place when I tried to shuffle them. They're also good for slamming on the table and throwing when you take a bad beat!

I use them differently Yeah i play with them. But whenever im thinking of making a bad preflop call or flop,turn,or river play . I put the appropriate amount of chips in a pile. End of a session i see how much it cost me. If my bad play wins I take out the right amount. Trust me doing this a few times elimnates my bvad plays.

What the most amount of chips you can shuffle? 24 is my limit. I also seem to do it better left handed.

I did for a little while until I started multi-tabling. I should have stayed with the shuffling.

I'm glad others do this too. Remember that commercial where the little girl is dressed up like a bumblebee, and she was walking around feeling like a lonely dork? Then all the other kids dressed up like bumblebees showed up and she was happy? While I'm a dorky little bumblebee girl and now I'm happy.

I use some chips I got from Binions. I used to use some from the Borgata, but that yukky plastic coating was too annoying.
