Looks like you won a Clear Channel pop station radio contest to me for about half of these. Nice win!

I like those U2 albums, although I'm pretty sure I'm alone on this. Leave Behind is better than Atomic Bomb though, definitely.

I can say without hearing it that you will be returning the Fat Joe album soon.

It is actually a pretty decent album in my opinion. Much better then I was expecting.

I know it isn't. No I haven't heard it. I have Boombastic already and thought I'd try something else. I haven't heard any of these albums actually.

That would seem a bonus to me, a bigger bonus though would be opening the shaggy cd and finding the case empty.

The Ludacris album is very, very good. I'm not a big rap fan.

Alright, that's 2 in the rotation. I'm including the older U2 album for sure and one of the 4 phish discs, so two slots left.

Dude, return the Shaggy CD. Seriously. Replace it with My Xperience by Bounty Killer or any of a hundred other superior dancehall CD's.

"Surely they can't all suck."

No, they don't. I own about half of them. None of them are awful, except for Shaggy. Shaggy is terrible. The vomiting was a natural reaction to anyone else indicating something he likes.

Boozoo Bajou - Killer feat. Top Cat

Try Soulseek ...maybe Kazaa, but doubtful.

i beg everyone that listens to fat joe and ludacris to convert from rap and at least try listening to different music rather than main stream rap.

this time im gonna suggest Muse and Ours.

or if you like the beat you should try RJD2.

RunDownHouse 07-29-2005 02:19 PM

Re: Bought Some CD\'s Today

I don't care enough to hunt down some underground, indie rap thing.

R2D2 or whoever wasn't on Napster when you could rip their mp3s last year, and that was about the most effort I'm willing to go to for a rapper nobody's ever heard of.

WTF is Muse or Ours going to for someone who likes rap??? And the Ludacris and Fat Joe albums aren't bad at all. Not everything mainstream is terrible.

[/ QUOTE ]not really. he makes a lot of catchy radio songs, but the rest of the CD is essentially filler with a few cool tracks along the way. I have also heard the Fat Joe CD isn't bad, but I won't be checking it out anyways. Dude fell off after Pun died. Now instead of really spitting, he makes radio hits.

Yes, but "It wasn;t me" is on there. Love that song. Did a real good version of it in Aruba in 2003 with a local guy who did a dead on Shaggy; Ofcourse, being testicularly challenged, I can do the RikRok to a T.
