Paradise....

I just opened up a account there. Is the software always this slow and laggy? or is it just my computer/connection?

Thanks

Re: Paradise....

Paradise is usually slower than most sites, but not too bad. To get hand histories, you need to request them from the lobby, I forget which menu it's under. You can only get 100 at a time, so keep the stats window open while you play to keep track of how many hands you've played.

Re: Paradise....

The thing about Paradise for me is I dont find the actual Check, Bet, Raise Fold etc action to be slow. It's certain other things such as unnecessary delays in showdowns to reveal cards and strange delays on all ins. Things like that.

I have been having problems cashing out of paradise this week. It won't process. Anyone else having trouble?

Re: Paradise....

yeah, I cashed out a coule of days ago and it kept saying transaction already in progress please wait for that to finish. I logged outo and back in and then it worked. So I go back in later to play and my acct. looked right, but after playing for about an hour, the system froze so I went back in again and all the money that I cashed out was back in my Acct. I have only been playing on this site for about a month this was my first cash out from there hope it's not always like this.

If you're cashing out to NETeller, it might be related to that - they've been experiencing a few problems lately...

Yea, that's the same problem I'm having. The software is usually good, one of my fave sites. I've cashed out before with no problem. Just having trouble this week. I've tried a few times and it won't process.

Re: Paradise....

Under the "Utilities" meanu on PT there is an option "Auto Request Hand Histories".

As its name implies, it automatically requests hand histories from Paradise every so often and automatically imports.
You set how often you request and how often you import.

One small not of caution: The import will take ALL HH that are in you e-mail (there is no way to distinguish in the automatic import) so if you have Party or other HH in you e-mail they will be imported too.

I thought in the AutoImport screen there was a box that you checked for which sites you want PT to look for hand histories from (Party, Paradise, Stars, etc.)? This is simply from memory as I don't have my PT open and am at work.

Re: Paradise....

That's odd. Paradise's client has always worked better than Party's for me, but judging from this and other threads, that's not true for everybody.

Re: Paradise....

Yep.
But not the one opened from the Auto-Request for Paradise.
Only on the manual import screen.

Firepay worked for me. Very smooth. I guess Ive never had trouble with their software. Ive only ever played there though so maybe I just dont know what I am missing.

Well, I had the feeling that it is a little slower than other sites. I also thought it was my computer/ connection but now that i know that it has occured to others as well I guess it must be there site.

as usual.. tonite they are 20-40 minutes late. Also there is a bug you will see in the Lobby if you play there alot where the table/s you are seated at will disappear completely from the Lobby for 15 even 30 minutes... this is a real mindfuuk-this software has sucked for the last year but the games are excellent.

Yes, the games are good and I like the site.

However the software is a joke. It seems slow because it is slow. They really need to rework it and also place the HH directly on your hard drive. I only play about 1,500 hands a month on Paradise, in part because it is hard to get a seat at a 5/10 full table and partly because it moves so damn slow that it really tests my patience.
