Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
I have a Dairy Queen about 2 miles down the road from me. Hot chicks work there and good ice cream. Does anyone eat the hamburgers/fries/etc there ? Any recommendations ? I'm thinking of eating there or maybe taco bell ? I had a great day today. 3 hour of NL poker and $215 in the plus so far.

No one cares that you got it all-in with a set vs. an overpair.

If you win something, go get a dirty dairy queen bitch and SIIHP. This is easy. |

Is that the only ice cream you have ever eaten? |
Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
Their fries are really good.

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
They're all over in Texas. "Meh" is the right call here, I believe.
Try a steak/chicken finger basket, if they're available where you live. |
Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
That's damn good ice cream. Is there better ice cream some where that I don't know about ?
|
Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
BTW, has anyone tried the chicken fingers at Burger King ? I would suggest that you stay away from them. I had some and I wasn't impressed at all. They were bad. They weren't even on the drive thru menu, either.

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
It's just soft-serve, dude....
Try a pint of Ben & Jerry's or something. |
Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
My parents own a DQ, so I've eaten there approx. 4895743985743 times. Meh is probably right. However, it's pretty decent if your parents own it and it's free.

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
I stopped at a DQ in Oregon somewhere on a road trip and got the chicken strips basket. The girl asked if I wanted gravy with it. "Gravy??" I asked. She said "yes, gravy" I said "ok".

The barbeques are good.

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
I don't know if all DQ's do it, but I used to go to this one when I was young and get a hot dog. They'd put it on a big piece of Texas toast that's prepared like an open face grilled cheese and then they just throw the hot dog in the middle and wrap it.

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
Eating anything besides beef jerky and tree bark (and motor oil to wash it down) is for metrosexuals and women.

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
i really like their hamburgers

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
They used to have a decent chili dog. Their cheeseburgers are very tasty if they're fresh.
|
Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
my favorite chili dog is the chimi chili dog at a&w. it's got a deep-fried tortilla with chili and a hot dog in it. haven't had one in like 10 years though, but it was my food court food of choice for a while.

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
DQ has high variance. Across the USA, I have seen filthy DQs and as-clean-as-you-could-expect-with-Ice-Cream-and-teenage-employees DQs.
Each one should be judged individually, otherwise stick with the stuff they can't really mess up (ice cream treats.) |
Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
Mom and Dad's DQ is the cleanest fast food place you can possibly find.

I used to get the bbq beef. It was yum.

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
As far as cleanliness goes, what would you do if when you walked up to the counter, you saw that the only two males working there had junk all over their shirts ? There were a few females working there that looked pretty clean but the guys shirts were filthy as hell. It makes me wonder what the hell happened for their shirts to be that dirty. It was unbelievable. Would you eat your food ? I got 2 hot fudge sundaes and some fries.

Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
Food is definitely meh. Considering that the DQ near my office has the slowest service EVAR*, I don't bother. I think I have eaten there 5 times in 5+ years at this job, and they are 2 blocks away.
*kerssens, stabn, other Bellevue boys- have you been to the Eastgate DQ? They could hire bronze medalists at the Special Olympics and get a more competent crew. |
Re: Does anyone eat the hot food at Dairy Queen ?
I'm a big fan of the crispy chicken salad, but that's largely due to the delicious honey mustard dressing it comes with.
