Biggest pot ever?
 

I was just playing a 6/12 stud game with the poster child for a maniac and no less than 3 donks.

I managed to get wired kings and kings up on 4th. Every street was capped with 4 players. The final pot was 445 dollars, making for a 37.08 BB pot, the largest I have ever participated in.

I'm sure someone can one-or-two-up this, but it was fairly amazing for me at the time.

Any brags?

I've won a 51BB 15/30 pot, won a 40BB 80/160 pot, and lost a 33BB 300/600 pot.

I've lost a 24 BB pot in a live 40/80 game. I've lost a 40 BB pot in a live 20/40 game. The 40 BB pot I was in fourth place in a four way showdown with JJ that was an overpair to the board. I got in the last raise.

The biggest # of BB in a limit game I've ever seen live was 63BB at a $20-$40 -- and, yes, I was winning before the river. Ugh. But high 60's and low 70's is even sicker.

I had quad Aces in a 5/10 stud game capped on every street with 5 way action to 6th street and 4 way action on the River with a table full of maniacs at Mohegan Sun. I never raised once in the hand. Never counted up the big bets I won but what a pot. 2 Aces in the hole, one on 4th street and another on 5th street. Funnest hand I ever played.

I know....one of my one and only shots at 1/2 right there. and YES...I did donkily sit down the min-buy in....

(this was back before my 2+2 days and before my even basic understanding of BR management days)

Canterbury Park last night at a 6/12 game. There was some random betting maybe 8 BB in the pot before the river. On the river its heads up. They go for 20+ bets before someone is all in. One guy has the A high flush, the other thought he had a straight flush when he was still gutted. You think he would have stopped and actually checked his hand when the guy with the ace high flush told him that a straight flush was impossible. I dont know the exact count, but it was over 50BB By the time it was over.
