The best new Xbox game????
 

I used to play quite a bit of Xbox, but then poker took over. I was thinking of getting a new game but I don't really know what's out there. What are the best games that have come out in the last few months??? Doom3? Any suggestions?

Depends on what genre of game you like the best. Since I am sure your a fan of the poker, I could recommend a few games to check out that are going o be released soon, or were within the last week or so. World Series of Poker game, which has online play, should be a pretty good game, and the graphics are pretty good from what I have seen. Also Daniel Negraneu (spell??) is backing a poker game for the x-box. I haven't heard to much about it yet, but it might be an interesting game to look into. What Genre of game are you the most interested in and I could make a better suggestion.

Anyone that buys a poker video game for any reason other than pure novelty should be slapped.

I have trouble rationalizing buying a poker video game where I play for free. I generally like sports games and first person shooters. Any other ideas?

Madden, Halo 2. I can't wrap my mind around someone buying a poker video game.

I was really just passing on the info, I didn't intend for him to buy a poker game when there are several oppotunities to play online, or with actual people with no wires needed. I also agree that no one should actually buy a poker game.

If you have any sort of interest in a racing game, you MUST buy Burnout: Revenge. It will rape your senses (in a good way).

First Person Shooter: Halo 2, Area 51 or the new Doom Game
Sports: Madden 06, NHL 06 (but I like hockey), Tiger Woods golf, any EA Sports title

I generally don't like racing games, but I have read some reviews on Burnout that say it is awesome. The only "racing" game I have ever really liked was Wreakless. Should I give it a try?

What about Splinter Cell - Chaos Theory? I like the first SS a lot.

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is arguably the best of all the splinter cell games, so if you liked the first one, I would highly recommend Chaos Theory

I will end up buying one eventually - sometimes 4 or 5 of us get together at 4 AM and have tourneys...

HELL of a lot easier online with the cards shuffling instantly...

Also, I need a new Xbox game, too. WoW has monopolized all of my gaming time, so a break from that sounds fun.
