A's went in to the all star break sweeping the pale ho's on their home turf. offense is balanced and clicking. pitching and defense lookin good. the los angeles halos of los angeles went in to the break losing 4 str8 at home to the friggin Mariners. Sorry but that is not what a dominant team does.

his delivery is similar to hudson's, meaning he could have some oblique problems. (see DL for first part of season.)

I don't have statistics on this one, but I would guess Oakland has the best (or close to) winning percentage from July-September over the last 5+ years. Anyone out there want to confirm or deny that?

Every year in my keeper league I try to trade Chavez in the early part of the season, when he's stinking. Every year no one wants him, and he heats up in the 2nd half. Another bullet dodged again, for now.

You need to change your trading strategy. The key is to buy low, sell high. Next year, don't draft Chavez and then trade for him in late May.
