nah, I use a laptop for everything. Area-51m 7700 Case with 17" WideSXGA+ 1680 x 1050

Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
21" CRTs are working just fine for me. Next time the 2001fp drops below $400, I'll probably pick up a couple.

Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
If you had one, you might have been able to beat me tonight.

Can't believe you made a comeback at 11 cents. |
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
I gotta 19" CRT that does up to 1800 X 1440 that I paid $75 for. I'm set till this one goes.
|
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
my gateway VX900 19" is 1600*1200 enabled -
which pretty much makes a 21" LCD a want and not a need |
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
where do I click to vote " My penis is big enough that I don't get monitor envy"?
|
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
Samsung 213T 21.3" LCD and Dell Trinitron 22" CRT working just fine.
|
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
Great poll!
I have 1, but trying to find a video card so i can support 2. I will get a 2nd when i get my new video card. |
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
just get a 2nd videocard for 30 bucks. don't need to spend hundreds on a 2 dvi port video card.
|
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
The chepest I have seen in Sweden is $944 so if I shall whait untill it is below $300 then I guess I have to wait long...

I took a long time to get them -- I got 2 -- but man, it was the best decision I ever made.

Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
or move to USA preferably someplace warm...like Florida. Hey that's where i live!!!!!

Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
yes I have one, but am working on getting a second one. Due to problems I can't get one yet...Problem is that after the Empire bonus I was still down 14 bucks. My rule is that I have to win the money at poker before I can add anything to my computer. My other moniter is a Sony V95something 19" LCD it is great for web surfing but the tables overlap by 1/2. The Sony was 600 bucks (with 100 dollar rebate) and Dell's are cheaper than that, with coupons. I didn't think of getting the Dell until after I had already purchased my new computer.
I didn't think a Dell 2001fp was that big a deal...I was wrong. It is the best monitor I have ever had. I can't wait to get another. I need a good reload bonus that is dam Party related. I never do any good with Party. Suck out after suck out just kills me. |
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
I have a 19" CRT that I am happy with. If I decide to add four more tables, I might get a 2001fp, or another monitor with similar specs because I don't think I could fit two giant monitors on my desk.

I have a 2405FPW, but next wednesday i'm gonna switch it for two 2001FP's
I'm so jealous of american prizes btw... |
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
0 tax on poker winnings? Dam i'm moving there. To hell with all the bikini clad women here. To hell with warm weather year round. I am so ready for natural blondes, instead of the fake bubble heads down here.
But the fishing is too good here. I can't do it. |

0 tax on poker winnings? [/ QUOTE ] The UK doesn't tax poker winnings either, and you don't have to learn a new and rather hard language there. |

it was the best decision I ever made. [/ QUOTE ]Has anybody switched from a high-res setup to 2001fps? I'm currently running 2 21" monitors at 1800x1440 each. If I were to switch to 2001fps, I'd LOSE screen space. Guys who are gushing, is the 2001fp better 'cause it's big, or better 'cause it's crisp? -Sam |
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
they're prettier, and having expensive things around makes me feel not so bad when I have a crappy session. also, they go very nicely side by side. there's not much space between the two screens

Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
I play entirely on a Dell 9300 laptop. I don't play more than 4 tables so I really have no use for one.

Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
ViewSonic VP201B and 1905FP here. Weird combination huh? I will get rid of the 1905 when I am ready to 8-table, actually I probably should do it now since when I am 4-tabling I do lots of other stuff. I just don't want to freak my roommate out, he has no idea what I am doing.

Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
You left off the poll choice "No, I have something better".

I was in Scandinavia recently. when back a friend who's a biologist asked what percentage of the women were blonde. I said it had to be at least 2/3rds. he said then a lot of them bleach their hair. it's not genetically possible otherwise. |
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
You also left off 'no, I have a vaery cheap NEC VR17 at the moment'.... erm.
|
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
Ok i play on two monitors, one my laptop and the other a CRT with resolution 1440x990. Theres not much overlap when I three table and sometimes four table. How advantageous will the 2001FP be?

Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
I couldn't find the option for "Dell Products suck" so I couldn't vote.
Dell is probably one of the worst manufactured computer products in existance. I'd rather own a Compaq, and that is saying a lot for Dell's lack of quality. |

[/ QUOTE ] We don't have 2/3rds blondes, not even when including the fake ones. Tall blondes might however get more than their share of attention from visiting americans, thus leading to selective perception errors. But our fake blondes don't bleach their hair until they got that Dolly-Parton-I-dipped-my-head-in-hydrogen-peroxide-for-two-hours-blonde, but rather stop at a natural blonde. We go in for moderation around here. |
Re: Anyone here not have a 2001fp?
Just curious, I don't know much about tech stuff but why is this monitor so much better than other similar cheaper priced FP monitors?
