Party Blackjack - end of an era

Since Party BJ started, I ran 400 up to about 1000, then down to 200, then back to 450.

Cash Out - Payment Distribution
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Payment Type Amount
-----------------------------------------------------------------
NETeller payment to **** $450.00

So, I quit up $50 vs Party BJ.

I do have 50 bonus dollars on Party, so I'm going to try and clear that. If I can make a stake out of that, more Party BJ!!!!!

Re: Party Blackjack - end of an era

busto would be more inspiring than a meager $50 win. this is truly disappointing.

la,

If I can grind out 350 hands of .5/1 or something, I will have a new stake to run up. Please try to stay positive.

um, ok. but we really need some type of huge flameout or unprecedented success. i know you can do it.

Did you consider buying into a $25NL table, but continuing to play blackjack?

From what I've seen of $25NL this could be very very +EV and get you back to your highrolling partypokerblackjack ways as soon as possible.

also, by the "swings" you quoted it seems to me that you aren't pressing nearly enough.

lapoker,

I was betting $100 a hand a lot, that is pretty good pressing for my roll!!!

we need some owning mahoney scale variance dude. like we need your action to affect share price. make it happen.

Re: Party Blackjack - end of an era

El Diablo,

10-tabling the 25NL 6-max should give you the required 350 hands in just over 20 minutes. Unless of course, you need 350 raked hands. In which case, you are f'ed.

Happy to help,
Yeti

Re: Party Blackjack - end of an era

Yeti,

Yes, they need to be raked hands. I am playing limit poker now. My strategy is to play TIGHT-AGGRESSIVE. Here is one hand, I think I maybe should have raised the river, but I not real familiar with my opponents yet.

la,

Alas, BUSTO.

Started off down, then had the $72 up to $120 or so and had a $25 double w/ A6 v. 6. Dealer pulled to 21. That started the downswing.

Then, down to $30, betting $15. Thought I had the comeback hand set up, but alas it was the BUSTO hand. I always get screwed w/ pocket Aces.

splitting AA against an 8? I hardly think this is good strategy eventhough it's only $30.

el diablo,

i highly recommend going into your paprtypoker folder and searching for a folder called images. delete this folder and the next time you clikc on party-blackjack, an error will come up, making it impossible to play.

this way you will never have to share these 'beats' with us ever again.

yes. I've never read a book and I'm in the hole, like to the tune of probably 30k+ just between party and paradise. So like I said I wouldn't listen to me.

No empirical evidence but with an 8 showing his chances of having a made hand is about 50/50 A,K,Q,J,T,9 a 2,3 or 4 isn't exactly bad for the dealer either. But the main drawback as I've experienced is you only get 1 card and seriously the times I've split AA I've never hit a T (so I don't even know if they pay you 1 1/2 )

like I said I suck. I've seen my friend split it like 3 or 4 times but that was against a 6. He was positive 50k and change splitting all the time and doubling down on the weirdest sh1t (weird to me, probably proper strategy, I don't know) at BJ but course blew that in a couple days.
