This is Simple Minds, and doesn't count. This isn't really embarassing, as it was a huge hit due to a movie that was also a huge hit which everyone has seen.

I was always more of a "Beat It" fan. I think Eddie Van Halen's guitar is a big factor of that. Plus I always liked that video when I was a kid. So many colors. And knives.

I think it's borderline embarassing, and almost suggested it myself. It's a good song though, but you have to be into it for it not to be corny. It worked great with the movie.

This was the first song I thought of, although I'd have to say "Shoop" by Salt and Pepper is probably the song I like the most out of the embarassing catagory.
