max sum for stars transfer??

How much can you transfer via stars? And will they lock your account or take any action if say you transfer a couple grand to someone who immediately cashes it out, and this happens on a monthly basis??

thanks

10k.

While we wouldn't "lock" accounts we certainly would be asking questions if the sender of the transfer deposited without playing also!

I've received over $3000 twice in a Stars transfer, I am not sure if I gave it any action but I cashed it out quickly without issues.

I routinely transfer money to my girlfriend (as much as $6000 at a time) who then immediately cashes out. (easier than me withdrawing the money to neteller, then to my account, then writing a check) And we've never had any problems. This is one of the great things about pokerstars. They don't put all these barriers in the way of you getting your cash. Why should they care why you're transferring the money. Also, these requirements about having to play a certain number of hands before you can cash out (that I hear about concerning other sites) are just pathetic attempts to get some action from you. A successful and well-run site like Stars doesn't need to resort to such crap.

I think people ought to simply boycott all sites that makes it onerous to withdraw your own money. After all, they're already earning interest on the money we keep there. It's ludicrous that they should put any barriers/excuses in the transfer or withdrawal of our own funds.

i don't know about stars, but i did this with ultimatebet and they weren't pleased. in fact they denied my withdrawal request.

so i decided to play with the money and promptly lost it all fast.

If this is for what I think it is, use neteller and pay the 1.9%.

neteller charges a fee to cashout money from your poker account to neteller. you dont pay it. the poker sites do. most poker sites have a problem with you using their site to freely transfer money in and out of the system because they are paying fees on that money. they require that you play a certain # of raked hands so that they can cover the fees.

Why are you using us as a bank!?

Basically to clarify:

-- if you deposit your money play some win a bunch and then transfer it to other players then we are not going to be asking you any unnecessary questions

-- if you deposit and then immediately transfer to someone else who then cashes out; appart from the obvious appearance of money laundering/potential fraud occuring we are not going to be best pleased about paying deposit fees for you I am sure other sites will have similar policies

While it involves a few steps, withdrawing from a poker site to your Neteller, transfering Neteller to your bank account, your bank account to Paypal, Paypal to another person's Paypal, is a free way to transfer funds to another person.

How do you do this and not get hit with Paypal's 3.9%?

It's probably tards like you that keep rake so high for this very reason. Pay your "girlfriend" in cash like everyone else does.

I've transfered around 20K in the past month on ps, I did get "frozen" and had to answer them why I was doing this. After explaing they quickly unfroze and I was back onto playing/withdrawing.
