what\'s on your \"WOW\" list of movies?
 

let me explain what i mean. i have this list of movies that i have never seen, and if i tell people i have never seen them, they are generally shocked and just say "WOW".

what's on your list?

my list:

braveheart
office space
fight club
the sixth sense

i know i have more but can't think of them at the moment.. maybe some replies will jog my memory

Fortunately, I finally crossed 1994's "Wolf" starring Jack Nicholson of the list this morning. I would say it was similar to Teen Wolf in that the main character slowly learnd that he is changing into a wolf, has new found abilities, has to keep it a secret, etc, the only difference being they replaced all the goofy 80's teenage antics with an unbelievable love story between the hot Michelle Pfeifer and the old and decrepid Jack Nicholson. Setting Jack up with women way to hot for him seems to be a recurring theme in his movies.

I've never seen that movie about the guys who think they are great because they haven't seen some movies that everyone else likes a lot. I think it is the sequel to the one about the guy who doesn't own a TV and likes to tell people.

Just out of curiousity do you take some sort of pride in rolling against the grain with this, have just gotten annoyed with people telling you how much you need to see these movies, just not gotten around to watching them, don't think you'd enjoy them, or what?

Well, I have too many to list. I don't like Sci-FI/Fantasy, so Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, etc... I never saw a Terminator movie. Those are just some off the top of my head.

I've been meaning to see braveheart and scarface for years. I still have no desire to see LOTR no matter how much people insist I have to. I'm just not into fantasy.

I have seen almost all of the movies on these two lists (except for a number of the old foreign films). The only one I haven't seen that might qualify as a "wow" is the number one grossing film of all time, Titanic.

Good point. National Treasure is another one I didn't see, but it clearly wasn't worth mentioning.

I've never seen Stars Wars ep's 5 or 6, and the last time I saw ep. 4 was probably 15 years ago, so I'll kinda add that to the list too, since I don't remember any of it.

I also have not seen any of the Harry Potter movies.

I have also not seen any of the old classics, Casablanca, Gone With The Wind, Citizen Kane, etc.

26: Meet the Fockers
28: Harry Potter 2002
30: How the Grinch Stole Christmas 2000
35: Harrty Potter 2004
38: Raiders of the Lost Ark. That's a big one. I actually have the Indiana Jones box set, but haven't gotten around to watching it yet.
40. My Big Fat Greek Wedding

That's it for the top 60.

Looking at the other list, Lawrence of Arabia is the only one that jumps out at me. Again, I actually own it but haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

I still love it. It's my 3rd favorite move (behind American Beauty and American History X). In fact, I like it today much more than I did when I watched it in the theatres, but I was practically a fetus then so that doesn't really count for much.

I could go on, there are a bunch of really awful movies on this list that I have no interest in seeing.
