T6s play along

Haven't done one of these in a while. First hand at the table. Wasn't paying real close attention and wound up posting in MP3 instead of CO. PA-HUD hasn't had time to pull up any historical statistics I might have, even.

UTG raises, UTG+1 calls, 3 folds, Hero ?

Suited 3-gap in LMP. Have at it.

Re: T6s play along

um I hope you folded

T9s might be enough with better position or another coldcaller

T6s is garbage is most all situations, and def. including this one

EDIT: I totally missed that you posted, yeah call

Re: T6s play along

well there is 6.5SB in the pot as of now, and you need 7.5:1 for a flush draw, and with the straight possibility + probable positionit is close, slightly in hero's favor to call. Especially if BB comes along.

Re: T6s play along (FLOP)

Normally I'd agree with 'set and fold this...but then I looked at it. I'm getting 6.5:1 immediate, probably more than that with the blinds coming along, so I can call just for the flush with the straight and "miracle draw" possibilities for backup.

Then I wish I hadn't...

Once you make the first call the second one is easy, so let's just move on.

Well?

Jeebus, Set! Even I can't come up with a reason for posting a T6s play-along where I'd be cold-calling a raise.

I don't like/scared of BB check, but I want a free card. Raise

Raise and take the free card on the turn.

Well, crap. Nobody wants to tell me to call? Fold? Meh. What about now?

Re: T6s play along (FLOP Part Deux)

um whats with that flop raise with a 1card gutter
the 7 draw is ok but with that board its not nearly as strong as a normal double gutter

I guess call the 3bet

edit:I'm getting good at reading the board today

Re: T6s play along (FLOP Part Deux)

I go back in time and fold preflop.

Maybe this is why I cant get my vpip over 15%

Wow. I give myself full outs for the double-bellybuster, since the only hand I'm really worried about is JT and the only aggressor I see is UTG and he raised UTG preflop, so I'm not seeing JT out of him. But, I can still give myself full outs for the J since the J gives me the same hand as JT.

Anyhoo, I capped with 3 opponents:

Fold, you're up against 99 which will hit running nines.

Re: T6s play along (TURN)

I think preflop is a supereasy call. I like the flop raise b/c folding a lone 6 or 10 would be nice. Take the free card on the turn.

Re: T6s play along (REEVER)

Well, I took the freebie on the turn, rivered the 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and MHIG. I just thought that the first 3 streets were a little interesting, not the usual "what's wrong with this AJo?" stuff we've been seeing recently.

Re: T6s play along (REEVER)

Was there any action on the river, or did they just check to you?

I definitely liked the flop cap, and I'm definitely sick of misplayed AJo hands as well...nh
