Hmmmm I'm new at this, does a 27/19 raise A7s or A6s in that spot preflop?

If your read is poor post-flop play, then I don't think a 3-bet is unreasonable.

i disagree. i have a lot more flexibility by not capping and my hand isn't that great multiway. because i am in position of the lrr, if i hit i can raise and almost always knock out the ep guy. in between us is a 2p2er who wont get out of line too much. if i miss, i can keep it cheap for myself. i'd lean toward capping AJs though

We probably should add A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] to the range too.

Even so it looks like even money or barely ahead for Hero. Probably not a good idea to 3-bet.

I think he has 76s. I'm 24/18 and all the other hands you guys are discussing look like easy isolation raises to me especially versus a crippled stack. I'm not limping A6s or 77 and letting a TAG have the button.

I think the failure to cap is awful:

1. There is no strong reason to think MP has anything for his backraise. It looks like he is burning off his stack. Take your cheap shot and punish the field.

2. If MP does have AA or something he's going to double through you assuming his hand holds up. It's almost unavoidable given the pot size and your strong starting hand. The sooner he runs out of money the sooner you can start a side pot and begin value betting against players with weaker hands.

If we know for sure CO is a 2+2er, then I think I agree, but just because he has 2+2-like stats doesn't mean he'll play like a 2+2er pf. I could see a 77, 66 limp here.
