Never played Stud/8. Will bust my cherry tonite. I am halfway through Todd Brunson's chapter on Stud/8 in SS2. Hope it helps otherwise you guys have some dead money here.

Right now I'm comtemplating which strategy will work best.

1. Sit out the whole tourney
2. Actually try to play Stud/8

I'm leaning towards option 1 for overall finishing effectiveness.

I'm in eigth right now and the only person above me I know has played in 7/8b tournies is Toro (and I may be confusing him with Kurn in that regard.)

Man, I've seen some really horrible play. You guys aren't kidding when you say you suck at this game. Guys, you can't call a raise on 3rd from an Ace door card with 6J6 and three guys behind you showing low cards.

Congrats. It's a strange game but you played well.

Sorry I was making such weird plays at the end. I had a pounding headache and my now ex-producer was banging on my door wanting to go shoot. It's been a lousy day.
