i think it's funny that the "some info" page is a banana republic page. of course they're going to tell you that you should look for french cuffs to look sharp if that's what they want you to buy.

I have one French Cuff shirt that I bought from BR that I wear with jeans. Its not real flashy and with low key cufflinks it looks fine. I saw someone wearing one the other day with the little button thing still on instead of cufflinks. At a quick look I could'nt tell it was a french cuff style shirt.

I really think jeans are standard for most nights out. I have no problem wearing a blazer or even certain suit jackets with a nice solid colored shirt and nice jeans.

silk knots and cufflinks should only be worn dressed up.
