My vote goes to Layne Staley.

Several years ago I saw Alice In Chains live, whilst I loved there music and thought Dirt was an awesome album, Staley was so stoned he could barely stand up let alone sing a note. About hour into the show drummer Sean Kinney got fed up, trashed his kit and walked off.

The rest of the band followed until Jerry Cantrell emerged did an acoustic version of Rooster and show over.

A.I.C = Cool
Layne Staley = Drug whore suck

AIC are the worst band I have seen live how I subsequently bought and enjoyed dirt I dont know, they supported Megadeth over here (who I thikn are the most boring band live as well).

I dont see how you can say Patton was underrated he certainly wanst in the rock and metal press over here, Faith No more were pretty big over here though.

My fave frontman is Bruce Dickenson form Maiden saw them last week and after normally seeing smaller/pub type bands to see a guy completely in control of the crowd really brought home how really good bands who can last generally have good frontmen with presence.

Alright, let's just make it a "Name some good frontmen" thread. I like Chris Cornell, whoever said that one - that was good.

This I can agree upon, I like Chris Cornell alot. I wish they could replace all the Eddie Vedder verses in Temple of the Dog with more Chris Cornell.

By fans yes but non-fans fail to absorb his brilliance.

The fact that everyone recognizes him simply by his initials indicates that he probably isn't underrated.
