You said before that an agressive player would raise AJ preflop, but I think that is often not the case. It just doesn't do well against large fields so after 3 limpers most players would probably limp.

It doesn't play well??? It plays just fine for me. If it doenst play well against large fields then you're probably just not playing it well. I couldn't even imagine not raising this spot in a typical 15-30 game.

Just to be thorough, there was another whole thread on the same topic not long after that one -- mainly Astro and I again. I think it contained a few other worthwhile thoughts. I have to run, but someone can easily find it and provide the link by searching my posts since I haven't posted all that much lately.

I'm just a 2/4 player, but what about raising the flop? The pots big, it clears up outs, and gets a free card.
