oi vei. if there is a lot of money in the pot and someone goes all in, you have an overlay in the pot, as i remember greg was a 53% favorite, meaning mike was just a 47% dog when he could have bbeen getting 2.5:1 or so. aka notttttt a bad call at all...if he won we might be touting a different repeat champion :P

Greg saw it on the TV broadcast and according to old threads I believe Greg indicated that he didn't take what Josh said personally and considers him a decent guy with ESPN assigning him the roll of the bad guy.

I usually play poker in the confines of a home game, so perhaps I'm coming at this from a different angle, but those things mean the exact same thing to me.

When it's a group of people in someone's basement playing and drinking, if I don't hear the infamous f-bomb once a minute, I think there's something wrong. No trash talk without obscenities is allowed or tolerated, unless you get really creative with fornication, various undisirable wildlife and probably a pitchfork.

That said, in a casino I've never uttered a word I wouldn't say to my mother.

At least I cant, so I just have to throw a very long shot here.

I suppose mike is a jew.. during world war SS men were killing lot of jews, and S has been in many occasion replaced by 8 regarding this matter.

So whats the correct answer, I suppose it's something to do with drugs?

I was standing right beside the photographer who took that picture. It was a brief conversation about how many chips they each hand, nothing more.

Raymer was beating on Matasow's Blinds and Mike had enough of it. With their exchange and the constant blind assault from Greg I think he was steaming a bit thus leading to making a stand with the hand. If Mike had a cool head about him I think he makes that lay down.

Actually if I remember right Matusow raised UTG or UTG+1 with 97s, Raymer reraised with AJs (yeesh), and it folds back to Matusow, who calls. Don't think Matusow was in the blinds that hand.

Matusow then checks to Raymer who pushes. Matusow freaks out then calls. then freaks out again.

But, I think you're right -- I think if it hadn't been Raymer he would have made the laydown.

Matusow was in the 1 seat and Raymer was in 4 or 5. MM raised in LP and Raymer reraised from the BB.
