Re: Moving between limits - question for top players

i genuinely do not understand it in the least when people have the bankroll and skill to play a certain stakes and they do play that stakes, then they randomly play lower stakes from time to time. i have no tolerance for that switching in stakes. although thinking about it now i realized that i do switch stakes for one reason, when i start playing bad.

this rings true for any job.

you think? I disagree.

Me too. I love my job and am learning/developing at an astronomical rate. I would definitely do it for half the money. But don't tell my boss.

I think a large majority of people do not love their job. I know I certainly did not love my job (as an Engineering Consultant), so I quit to play poker full time. I love poker and honestly my job was way more monotonous than poker. If I had a job that I loved and made, well I guess, 1/5th of what I do now I probably would have stayed doing that. I do think about how long I will be doing this, and I guess my goal/plan is to continue building wealth where I can start a business and/or possibly get into real estate investments, and play poker as a side. But one thing that poker provides is freedom; I can take a multiple month vacation and still be more than ok financially.

Its tought but i feel like its for people who have to do it more or less. Very few players have discipline enough when they have too much money to play at a low game. Most are pros and are searching for the most profitable game. Me i w ant the most action cause profit isnt so important as the trhill. Whule i have talent i have to much disposable income so unless i play 10-25 and up i wont feel any pain losing. Although i wish i could,
