This is so ridiculous. Give the convict the choice? he didn't give a victim of choice of whether she wanted life or death. Why should he get a choice?

[/ QUOTE ]basically, what I was thinking was, should a convict who is in prison for life be allowed to change his penalty from life in prison, to death.
