You mean Bush43?

Thought he was against nation-building and all that we're doing right now in Iraq.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes he was, which is why I have to laugh when ever someone places Bush in the "vast neocon conspiracy". However, I hardly think the flip flopper label fits Bush. It seems reasonable that a President might rethink his foreigny policy stance after 3000 citizens are killed in a terrorist attack.

Vultures, what are you saying? Having one stance and sticking with it shows fortitude, morality, and conviction. Changing your stance shows none of this. Do you want to make unsure decisions? Do you like not having conviction to follow through on anything?

I see where you are going with this and frankly I have no wish to hijack this thread with issues that were debated endlessly leading up to the election. Yes I think conviction is a good thing to a point. My point was that in this case, 9/11 was a paradigm shifting event and thus changing his stance on foreign policy could hardly be termed wishy washy.

Forgive me for screwing around.

In my defense though, it would not be a bad thing if this thread was hijacked.

You know what...I did vote for the "flip-flopper." You voted for Bush..after four years of demonstrable corruption and failure..how sad is that?

That is simply another example of the Liberal doublespeak to which I have refered to in the past.

As soon as you show me wrong I will concede. I do that, you know. But I find it hard to belive that anything Samh has said in the past merits you to draw the (100% certain) conclusion that he "unknowingly" agreed to anything.

When are you going to tell me what connection you make between exchange rate and schools?

I'm heartbroken. Just curious as to how you knew what the thread was about without reading a single post.
