I don't really see myself planning a trip to a strip club, but I definitely see a 2am "dude lets go to scores right now" trip as something which is much more likely.

Um, $5,600? I wonder if the winners are actually going to follow through with their purchase.

I decided it wasn't worth it to wait in line for 12 hours and call in to work. I guess I was wrong.

What's odd, though is some are only going for $1,000. The only difference I can see is the $5K one has a couple games.

EDIT: The auction just closed at over $10K. I posted the link with about 2 minutes to go.

I think you are missing the whole, this is now the hottest toy for the year and everyone and their mother will be talking about it the whole Christmas season thing going on here, which will make them lots of profit longterm. They do it on purpose. It has clearly worked after only one day as ebay can clearly show.
