Re: software look and feel

I agree with most of the graphical criticisms in this thread, especially the darkened players (my monitor is very dark at max brightness, I can't see them at all), and small hard to read action buttons.

I'd also add that the choice of background for the rectangle with player names and dollar amounts is quite odd. Why put a mottled (is that the right word?) background behind something you're trying to read? It reminds me of the early days of the web when every site had crazy backgrounds and you couldn't read any of it (which was ok, because there wasn't anything worth reading).

On the positive side, I do like that the statistics stay between sessions (though that clown is kinda scary).

I hate that clown.

The clown is frightening. It's like he's talking to me. "Go ahead, cold-call three bets with A-10. It's short-handed. You can draw out. Call it.... caaaallllll it. Feed me more rake."

The $50 bonus for the raked hands did post at midnight. I can confirm.

Re: Official Scoring?

Are we supposed to track our money the whole time...ie leave one table with 114.56 and sit down at another and type in 114.56?

No - it's only the overall OIC balance that matters. You can leave the the table with $114.56 and sit at the next one with $100, or $150, or, as in my case, $8.34.

Big complaint about GC

NUMBER ONE COMPLAINT:

The buttons notifying you of your turn are too small and inconspicuous.

Not sure if much has been made of this already, but the number of times I've missed my turn because I simply didn't know it was my turn is appaling. I watch TV while I play, and I don't even notice when the buttons appear for my action.

Stew

I remember mixing it up with you but can't remember the hands. Do you recall?

I did not do well after you left. I'm now officially eight dollars down in 11.5 hours of play.

I think I saw that you're at $100 now? Congrats! Good luck!
