AROD had the better numbers and probably was most deserving. But the interesting thing about AROD is the two times he has left teams (Seattle and Texas) both teams got immediately and immeasurably better. I just think it's interesting.

Immeasurably??? The M's got 25 games better, the Rangers got 18 games better.

It is also interesting how teams that aquire alot of new free agents, and have lots of stud young prospects age a year older, get better the next season.

If we are going to only use Arod's Yankee stats to compare him with Jeter, shouldn't we only use the series they played in together? This ensures they were playing the same competition.

Okay then measurably [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Point being teams have gotten way better when he's gone. Or maybe when his salary is gone? In any event it sorta shows one overpaid guy no matter what his numbers isn't all that valuable maybe. And that just maybe a team is more valuable than a superstar.
