My girlfriend's dad is a bookie and her mom plays cards for play money online, so she encourages me but doesn't really know what she is doing...

...last week she was playing for play money on pokerroom and says, "This guy is such a d---, every time he plays a hand he raises before the flop. What a jerk."

Her mom basically said the same thing to me a few months ago when describing her play in casino 1-5 game, saying "I hate these people who always raise to 5 before the flop, it's like, if you are going to raise to 5 then why not just play the higher limit game?"

After choking back a whitty comment and a mocking laugh, I replied, "I know, it's terrible..."

I am currently accepting resumes for the position of "my girlfriend".

Must meet age, height and weight restrictions. Must be able to put up with a cynical grumpy bastard. Must not be afriad of 70lb+ dogs. Must like guys with a job and a car better than unemployed alcoholics. Must not mind dating a terrible speller. Poker knowledge a plus.


Among other women I know my sister plays. She doesn't have the patience to learn the intricacies of limit other than by experience. If she wants to play you HU at no limit, I would advise extreme caution.
