I've always thought that was the most surreal play. The D-Backs bring up arguably the best bunter in MLB. He proceeds to lay down the worst bunt in WS history and Rivera throws the ball away. Very strange indeed.

Against Riviera, they try to give up an out and Rivera refuses to take it. (Very similar play, BTW, against the Sox yesterday, and Rivera got the man at second.)

Even worse was the next bunt, which should have been a double-play: Rivera got the lead runner at third, but then Brosius inexplicably doesn't throw to first for the second out.
