Save another 10k and buy a Lotus Elise..... The answer is that simple... If that's not a choice, go with the Lexus, you're 19 once, live it up.

Am I the only one who thinks this car is really gay? I mean, for 40K you could get a pretty sic

-300
-Any numberof SUV's
-Unreal classic car (GTO, cuda, trans am etc. with like 400 horses and an insane after market stereo)

and your going for a 4 cylinder mid size sports sedan? What?

funny you mention the elise. up until yesterday i had my heart set on one. unfortunately, the lotus elise might be THE most impractical car i could buy. they are sexy as hell, though. don't even get me started on the exige ...

I hope you are talking about the old charger/mustang, the new ones are god awful. And as for SUV's, who would want one with gas prices the way they are?

I don't even know what this model is. If I were him and wanted a Lexus, I'd prob go sc340. If that's too much, maybe a Boxster (or preferably Boxster S).

No, Im with you. Although the cars you listed arent real cool either, mustangs/chargers etc. I like the SUV/Classic Car option though. Or do get a couple cars, thats what I decided on. I have a jeep wrangler for the summer/off-roading, a superbee Im restoring (although you can probably find one in decent condidtion). If you are doing it for the chick factor you are definetly going to pull more tail driving a classic, than your suped up toyota:
