this hand illustrates perfectly why fulltable is gay and sucks.

perfect and anyone who has a problem with it doesnt understand limit hold em.

"think calling this a standard fold is just plain wrong"

youre wrong. the players would have to be psychotic and terrible to make this hand playable. this is extremely standard and it would be a very rare exception/circumstance where this hand would be playable.

wtf are you talking about?

a lot of players wouldnt fold this hand here.. well done in my opinion.. i dont have to see the other responses.

im not coming w/ this hand unless its suited. most likely you're facing AT LEAST a coinflop situation.. theyre telling you their hand is best.. so listen to them.

nice fold, i respect it a lot.

i agree 100%.. hes dumping money into a dominated hand. you're very right on the "anybody who doesnt agree doesnt understand limit hold'em."

hahaha.. agreed most of the time..

but in a capped pot i'd prefer playing any pair.. 22-AA and hoping to hit a set.. otherwise AK is worthless here.

that is the difference between winning and "break-even"/losing players.

i agree totally w/ the fold.

limit of NL this hand is going in the muck after a raise and a re-raise.

Re: 10/20 AK preflop

agreed somewhat.. your evaluation of the possible hand is worth a look at the flop.. BUT!

your pre-flop investment which will be a cap is not worth the return over many situations similar to this w/ 6-5s.

i like the concept.. depending on the opponents. i would probably play it if they were really LAG postflop and my return on investment is really well and they pay off draws. but over the long run you're paying 2 big bets to see a flop, and if you miss it you're gone.

Re: 10/20 AK preflop

what pot odds?

pot odds only matter if you're drawing.. and in this case.. you're probably not drawing to many outs .. if ANY!

i'd rather go in w/ a pair of deuces on this flop.

at least you're prettty sure you're going in with two live deuces :-p
