Neither are REALLY conservative or liberal, they are just MORE conservative and liberal than each other. For example, I am not "tall", but I AM taller than Gary Coleman.

I used to be totally idealistic, but I've become the biggest wimpy liberal ever. I went from Chomsky/Zinn to Schlesinger and Galbraith in like two years. College is great.

You are wrong. There is a difference between being on the political right (which is what you are saying) and being conservative.

IN the United States, they have become one and the same. But they actually aren't.

The idea that liberals want govt programs is just silly. Liberals believe that we can solve problems through rational solutions. Sometimes this means more govt programs and sometimes it means cutting taxs.

On the other hand, the political right believes that the only solution to any and all problems is to cut taxes and destroy the state. It's so immature and infintle, it would be embassing if you guys weren't running our country.
