dunno if its the same for you guys but i play better with better players

[/ QUOTE ]

I also play better against better players, in the sense that I use more of my poker skills.

But I make more money against worse players.

Take your pick.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yea, as much as OP needs a clue, this is a good point.

I do not play at the pokerstars I play at the partypoker so I cannot comment on these people.

its not bad in the sense that you have better chance in longhaul maybe. but it seems like its becoming more of a crapshoot when you have people calling allins with nothing but high cards to outdraw you on later streets. you mine as well go an play roulette or blackjack

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm confused. Don't you WANT people calling your all-ins with nothing?

I believe the correct spelling is "mrono," sir. Or is it "morno"? Argh! I forget!

Anybody else see the huge amount of donkeys playing the 11s an 20s at pokerstars lately. Has it always been this bad an i am jus now starting to be affected by it or has there been an influx of bad players. My bankroll is wanting to go elsewhere than pokerstars lately because of it. anybody agree that there are lots more bad players out there and if so is that a good thing or a bad thing?

[/ QUOTE ]

You make the majority of your money from beating bad players. Why in the world would you want to avoid them? Playing only top players all the time is definitely -EV compared to a game full of fish. You are probably either running bad due to variance or making some bad plays against these bad players. Why not post a few of your key hands where you think the bad players got the best of you (while trying to avoid bad beat posts as much as possible)?

dunno if its the same for you guys but i play better with tighter players

[/ QUOTE ]

FYP

Seriously, if the players were better your results would be worse. Invariably, the people I've heard say this almost always bean they prefer their opponents to be tight-weak, as opposed to good.

but how do you explain that if my play hasnt changed nad has made me a decent bankroll after a year off nothing an now all of a sudden im getting crushed? its all variance? or starting to get close to rollin dice

[/ QUOTE ]

I can explain it. So can you. Your play has not changed but the players have. Stop playing your cards and start playing poker.
