Re: I could make a living on $1/2.

Making $100/day (and trying to stretch it to make a living off of it) at 3/6 limit is actually probably more realistic than making $300 per 5 hours at 1/2 NL.

$60/hr at 1/2 NL is just not a sustainable win-rate.

When I go to play $1/2 no limit in Atlantic City, I bring in profits of about $350-450 in a period ranging between 4-6 hours. Taking the 6-hour period, and even saying I make $300 per trip, then assuming a 40-hour work week 52 weeks/year, that would be $104,000/year.

You almost definitely don't have a large enough sample size to know your true win rate.

Also, I think I might know you. Check your PM's (click blinking envelope at top of page).

Well at least your post has some realism in it. I'm tired and going to bed soon, but let me just say this to "some guys"...

I've been playing poker a long time. Played a LOT of 3-6. You simply can't make a living at it, unless the trailer park on I-10, and an occasional can of sardines (only as a treat now) are your idea of "pure bliss." Get a job already.
